CLIMATE
The tropical climate usually found along the equator. It is very humid, caused by the rainfall. According to "blueplanetbiomes.org", rainfalls 250 cm per year! Rainforest in a wet, climate group. The temperature never really gets higher than 93°F (34°C) or drops bellow 68°F (20°C). The rainforest climate is an equational climate. There is never cold weather that is below 68°F (20°C). Rainforest cover about 6% of the Earth's total land surface. The tropical rainforest is a forest of tall trees in a region of year-round warmth. An average of 50 to 260 inches (125 to 660 cm) of rain falls yearly.
The Amazon rainforest climate has not a dry season, as rains almost the whole year. Precipitation varies significantly though, in the Eastern part of the Amazon rainforest (close to the Andes) it doubles Manaus region. The Amazon rainforest climate is typically a tropical climate, also known as equatorial climate, found approximately 12 degrees to the North and south of the equator.
